Student's Mental Health in Education After COVID 19

According to the Healthy Mind Study, 60% of students experienced at least one mental problem during the pandemic. Colleges and Universities increased counseling centers for their students and began to take Mental Health extremely seriously due to the pandemic. Due to drastic changes in the United States, shifting the way that businesses and schools function truly impacted the entire nation. In the BestColleges survey, 8 out of 10 high school or college students responded that they had experienced increased stress and 69% of college students increased anxiety. Statistics provide us with evidence of the importance of monitoring and treating students’ mental health. For Mental Health Awareness Month, EmpowerWithWords College Prep employs students to identify and manage their stress levels in a healthy manner to achieve their education goals. It is recommended that students find what mental health services their school or college offers.
